Investigator at IVO - Licensing Review

Do you want to contribute to safer and more secure care? At the Inspectorate for Care and Support Services (IVO), you'll work with licensing decisions that make a real difference. We're now seeking investigators for the Actors Control Department. The department is responsible for reviewing applications for licenses for individual operations under the Social Services Act and the Act on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities (LSS), as well as certain licenses within the healthcare sector. About the job As an investigator, you'll be able to process applications using a risk-based approach with a focus on quality aspects of the intended operation. You base your work on laws and regulations to make assessments in an objective manner. The licensing review should be characterized by clarity, credibility, integrity, efficiency, and good service, and should be based on the state's core values. Qualifications We're looking for someone who has: A degree in social work or law, or equivalent education At least 5 years of current professional experience in a relevant field Good and current IT and computer skills Excellent knowledge of Swedish, both verbally and in writing It is an advantage if you have: Experience as an investigator at a state authority Experience with licensing review Experience working with the Social Services Act Personal qualities To succeed in this role, you should have good analytical skills, meaning you can approach matters from different perspectives and critically examine and analyze in an objective and factual manner. You should be able to prioritize and structure your work tasks and work both independently and as part of a team. You should be able to handle your work tasks professionally and in accordance with the rule of law, and be able to clarify and present reasoning so that it becomes logical and understandable for both the general public and professional stakeholders. You should have personal maturity and be able to make independent decisions and feel confident in these, and have a strong sense of good service and professional conduct.
