The Inspectorate for Care and Public Health Services (IVO) is in a development phase where our mandate is growing and placing increased demands on our oversight. To meet this, we are strengthening our operations and are now recruiting two analysts to the Director General's office, one permanent position and one fixed-term position.
About the job

Your main work tasks as an analyst will include:
coordinating contacts at management level with authorities and other actors,
coordinating follow-up of operations,
investigating, analyzing, and developing materials on various types of strategic issues,
preparing the Director General's participation in external contexts, which includes contacts with external stakeholders as well as internal coordination within the agency,
developing working methods and routines,
responding to incoming correspondence.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have:
higher education in social sciences or another subject area that IVO considers relevant,
several years of experience with qualified work at a strategic level with investigative and coordinating characteristics,
good and current knowledge of strategic issues related to public administration,
good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
It is meritorious if you have:
experience from similar work at the Government Offices, another state agency, or a politically governed organization.
Personal qualities
To succeed in the role, you need to be analytical and have the ability to see the bigger picture, identify connections, analyze complex issues, and link details to strategic goals. You work in a structured and independent manner, with the ability to prioritize and drive several parallel assignments forward.
You are communicative and stylistically confident, and can express yourself clearly in speech and writing as well as adapt your message to different audiences. Furthermore, you are collaboration-oriented and relationship-building, with ease in establishing trusting contacts both internally and externally. Finally, you are flexible and thrive in a changing environment where you alternate between strategic and operational issues.
In the recruitment process, we will place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
