About the Job
Do you want to work with qualified analysis, investigations, and development in a complex and socially important operation?
We are now seeking an analyst for the Business Development unit within the Quality & Development department at the Preschool and Elementary School Administration. The unit supports, coordinates, and drives the development of working methods, management, and quality within preschools and elementary schools.
Responsibilities
As an analyst, you work with qualified investigations, analyses, and decision-making materials of importance for the principal's responsibility and quality development.
You:
conduct investigations and analyses on assignment from administration management
prepare decision-making materials, service memoranda, and statements
support operations and management in complex matters
contribute to the development of working methods, procedures, and governing documents
connect investigation work with systematic quality work
The work spans both strategic and operation-oriented issues and takes place in close cooperation with managers and operations.
Who Are We Looking For?
Analytical - you need to be able to handle large amounts of information, see connections, and draw well-founded conclusions.
Structured - you need to possess the ability to plan, prioritize, and manage complex processes. You need to be able to work methodically and ensure high quality even when multiple assignments are ongoing simultaneously.
Good writer - you need to be able to write in a clear, correct, and educational manner to translate complex issues into clear decision-making materials, reports, and statements.
Independent - you need to be able to take responsibility for your processes, drive the work forward, and independently identify what needs further investigation.
Educational - you need to be skilled at explaining consequences, alternatives, and regulations so that the recipient understands, whether the recipient is a manager, politician, or colleague.
Good judgment - as an analyst, you handle sensitive matters with potentially major impact on both individuals, finances, and operations. Good judgment and integrity are therefore important qualities in you.
Since the role involves considerable interaction with other functions within the operation, it is also important that you are collaboration-oriented and have an aptitude for building trust and relationships. Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities during recruitment.
Qualifications
Relevant university education of at least 180 credits in, for example, political science, public administration, law, education, social sciences, or other education that the employer deems equivalent.
Experience in independently preparing decision-making materials, reports, or other qualified written materials.
Very good ability to express yourself orally and in writing in Swedish.
Merits for the position:
Experience from work within public operations
Experience of qualified investigation, analysis, or development work.
Good ability to analyze, structure, and compile complex information.
Work experience from preschool or school operations.
Deeper knowledge of the Education Act, the Administrative Procedure Act, and the Local Government Act.
Other Information
Interviews will preliminarily be held on August 20, 2026. Tests and/or work samples may be used as a complement to the interview.
