As one of our experienced colleagues has moved on to a leadership position within the municipality, we are now seeking a replacement who wants to be part of continuing to develop our work for children and young people. With us, you will be part of an experienced and committed work group with broad expertise in social work. We work in close collaboration between different functions, where investigating social workers, foster care workers, and child social workers work together to create security and long-term stability for the children and young people who come into contact with us. 1 position(s). WORK DUTIES As an investigator, you are responsible for handling cases in accordance with the Social Services Act and the Care of Young People Act. You conduct child welfare investigations, perform risk assessments, follow up on interventions, and make decisions within the scope of your delegation. The work involves meeting children, young people, and their networks in both acute and planned situations, as well as collaborating with internal and external actors to ensure that the child's best interests are always at the center. We work based on Signs of Safety. You work independently and are responsible for advancing your cases, while also being part of a close and supportive team. The role requires confidence in exercising authority, the ability to make decisions according to your delegation, and the ability to handle complex situations with both professionalism and empathy. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with a degree in social work. You have good knowledge of social work, and experience with authority operations is a merit. You express yourself well in speech and writing, have a driver's license, and it is an advantage if you have worked in Treserva. As a person, you are secure and professional in your interactions. You have good collaborative skills while being able to work independently and in a structured manner.
