We make society function for people traveling by road, rail, air, and sea. That's why we need the best expertise. Our mission is important and meaningful in everyday life—for both individuals and businesses. We take responsibility, treat everyone well, and respect differences. As an employee, you contribute to a sustainable future.
About the Role
Development in the vehicle sector is moving fast. That's why it's critical that our regulations stay current and functional, while we also need to stay ahead of the curve when it comes to future vehicle regulations—both short and long term.
We are now seeking a regulations developer to work on and lead assignments in national regulatory development. This often means updating or creating new regulations, but may also involve assisting the government on various matters. The section works primarily with national regulatory development, but also with some international regulations, investigations, and analyses in the vehicle sector. Work can therefore vary between general investigative assignments and more in-depth investigations, such as government commissions.
As a regulations developer, your main focus will be developing vehicle technical regulations where you will respond to consultations and statements with both internal and external perspectives. You will work both independently and together with colleagues, while maintaining good dialogue with other authorities, the vehicle industry, and other stakeholders who depend on or are affected by the regulations we develop.
Beyond sometimes diving deeper into certain regulatory frameworks, we see that you will eventually need to be able to lead investigations and assignments, which means broadening your perspective, seeing the bigger picture, and thinking long-term. To achieve results, you need the ability to both initiate and lead collaborations, and maintain good dialogue with multiple specialists and functions within our areas of expertise. Work sometimes happens in teams, so we want you to take responsibility for both yourself and the collaborations you're involved in, treat everyone well, and respect our differences.
You Matter to Us
Do you enjoy working with others and want to develop in your professional role? With us, you can expect career development, trusting management and colleague relationships, and a sustainable work life. We are a secure employer who cares about your health with time for fitness activities during work hours, flexible working hours, generous vacation days, and additional paid time off.
