In the Unit for Knowledge Support and Medicines Use, we offer varied work as an investigator with considerable responsibility, where you will interact with multiple operations and work proactively. Our Operations The Unit for Knowledge Support and Medicines Use is part of the Operations Area for Use, which among other things is responsible for producing independent medicines information and conducting safety monitoring and follow-up with the user in focus. The Unit produces knowledge support (treatment recommendations and the Swedish Medicines Handbook) for Swedish healthcare for safe and rational medicines use. In our work, we collaborate with internal and external experts, as well as with many other units within the Medical Products Agency. The Unit has about twenty employees with broad expertise and experience. We conduct both ongoing work and projects and investigation work, some of which are government assignments. To carry out our mission, we work with, among other things: capturing knowledge gaps and needs for medicines information developing independent treatment recommendations, publishing and disseminating them ensuring that the Swedish Medicines Handbook is updated according to the needs of the target group serving as a resource for the Medical Products Agency regarding scientific information retrieval and literature provision. Your Tasks Your work as an investigator will primarily involve producing and participating in the management of independent medicines information such as the Swedish Medicines Handbook and treatment recommendations. You are expected to lead, implement, coordinate and support projects and investigations both at the agency-wide level and within the unit. You will also collaborate with other authorities and actors in the field. The work includes critically evaluating pharmaceutical and medical information about medicines and medicines use, as well as compiling and conveying information adapted to the target group and channel. Based on knowledge and environmental monitoring, you are also expected to formulate and propose new measures and activities. Your Background We are looking for someone who has completed pharmaceutical, medical or other relevant academic education has several years of experience working in the field of medicines use and/or knowledge management has broad knowledge of medicines use has documented experience in leading projects, groups or assignments is experienced in giving oral presentations, writing reports and has the ability to - in collaboration with others - formulate text in a balanced and fair manner expresses yourself well orally and in writing in both Swedish and English. The following is meritorious research experience and experience in evidence assessment leading/managing government assignments Your Personal Qualities You are both thorough and pedagogical, with the ability to independently and proactively drive your tasks and lead groups towards a common goal. You also have a talent for good communication. Since the position involves many internal and external contacts, it is important that you enjoy working in a group and are good at building good relationships. You take initiative and have a high ability to implement and drive activities to completion. By being attentive, open and unpretentious, you contribute to a trusting and productive work environment.
