Do you want to contribute to knowledge-based social services? The Swedish Board of Health and Welfare is seeking an investigator to lead a pilot project for national administration of the parenting support program Komet. About the position You will lead and coordinate the work of the pilot project for national administration of Komet. A central part of your assignment is to plan, implement, and develop training and supervision for Komet instructors within a train-the-trainer model. You will contribute to ensuring that Komet is implemented in a uniform manner and in accordance with the program's content and methodology. The pilot project is planned to run through 2029. During this period, forms for a long-term sustainable national administration of Komet will be tested and developed. You will collaborate with other government agencies and actors, particularly with the Agency for Family Law and Parenting Support (MFoF). The role involves significant personal responsibility for planning, driving, and following up on the work. The position is primarily focused on the pilot project but may also include other work tasks within the unit's area of responsibility based on operational needs. You will, for example, participate in the unit's work on developing and managing knowledge support as well as supporting evidence-based practice in social services. You will work at the Research and Development Unit (FoU), which develops and evaluates knowledge support, methodologies, and methods for social services. The unit consists of approximately 17 employees, most of whom are researchers. About you You collaborate well and can build trusting relationships with different professionals and organizations. You work systematically and independently, can analyze complex issues, and can translate knowledge into practice. You are confident in training professionals, adapt your communication to different target audiences, and can handle different perspectives and disagreements in a constructive manner. You express yourself well orally and in writing. We place great importance on personal qualities. We are looking for someone who has an academic degree in social work, sociology, psychology, or related disciplines that can be considered relevant experience in implementation work in municipal or regional activities, for example, social services, schools, child and adolescent mental health services, or school health services experience working at a government agency or other public activity experience planning and conducting training and/or supervision for professionals experience working with, training in, or implementing structured and manual-based support or treatment interventions for children, young people, or parents good and current knowledge of social services operations the ability to read, evaluate, and assimilate scientific knowledge experience writing reports and giving oral presentations, and very good ability to communicate in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing. It is meritorious if you have advanced level education, that is, a master's degree, in an area relevant to the position instructor training in Komet and/or experience training or supervising within the program knowledge of social learning theory, CBT, or other relevant theories and methodologies within parenting support, and experience in method development or research within social services or the welfare sector. Good to know The employment is a permanent position and begins with a six-month probationary period. The job title is Investigator and the position is located at the Department for Social Services at the System Level, Research and Development Unit (FoU). You will be based at the Swedish Board of Health and Welfare's office at Västerbroplan in Stockholm and have the opportunity to work remotely up to two days per week.
