Your role and responsibilities
As an investigator with us, you contribute to the agency's normative work in government accounting. You are involved in developing, interpreting, and managing the regulatory framework for government accounting to ensure consistent and appropriate application throughout the government administration. You work with advisory and support services to agencies and the Government Offices, conduct training and government assignments – with the opportunity to influence how government accounting develops.
Your work includes:
driving and participating in regulatory development within government accounting
providing advisory services to agencies and the Government Offices
planning and conducting training and competence development initiatives
developing support and guidance on our website Forum for Economic Governance
participating in government assignments
You work independently but in close collaboration with colleagues, other agencies, and the Government Offices. The role offers great variety and the opportunity to deepen your knowledge in complex accounting issues with high current relevance.
You will be part of the Department for Efficient Administration, which is a large analysis department within the agency. An important task is to conduct investigations on behalf of the government.
Your background and competence
We are looking for someone who has:
an academic degree in economics or equivalent
several years of experience in qualified accounting work
very good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing
It is advantageous if you have:
experience with government accounting
experience in conducting training or presentations
Your personal qualities
The role requires good analytical skills and judgment. You are structured, self-driven, and have the ability to advance issues even in complex contexts. You are curious and stay updated within your field, while you have an ease for collaboration and building trusting relationships. We place great importance on your personal qualities.
