About the role As Shipping Manager for Kraft Paper, you have overall responsibility for warehouse and shipping at our mills in Bäckhammar and Åmotfors. The role is part of the market organization and you report to the Supply Chain Manager. This is a leadership position where you are expected to be present in the operations, make quick decisions, and actively drive improvements in daily work. You have personnel responsibility and work closely with both internal functions and external partners. Your main responsibilities In the role, you are responsible for booking transportation and ensuring efficient, cost-conscious flows within warehouse and transport. Your main responsibilities include: Lead and develop the shipping operations and have personnel responsibility for the team Ensure high efficiency in warehouse management and optimal utilization of storage spaces Work operationally with planning, prioritization, and follow-up of daily flows Responsibility for forklift operations, supplier contacts, and participation in procurement of transportation and external warehousing Ensure that customs handling, documentation, and procedures are complied with Handle and follow up on complaints related to warehouse and transportation Drive development of working methods, system support, and internal processes Collaborate with customer service, planning, and other mills to ensure delivery precision and contribute to budget work within shipping Participate actively in daily operations and support the team when needed, including forklift driving and management of goods flows. About the employment The position is full-time, permanent. Location Bäckhammar. Travel to our other facilities may occur. Start date by agreement.
