About the Unit
Alvsborg Amphibious Regiment is responsible for war organization production of; the 5th Amphibious Battalion, the 17th Guard Boat Company, and Naval Military Base Gothenburg.
We are now seeking a Training Officer for the regiment staff's planning section (G5) in the war organization section (KFS). The work is conducted together with the section, which consists of eight colleagues. KFS works closely with G5, the staff's other sections (G0-G10), and all war organization units.
Examples of some of KFS's tasks:
Leads and coordinates the war organization units' maintenance and development work.
Leads and coordinates the war organization units' refresher training work.
Leads and coordinates the garrison's and war organization units' mobilization work.
Leads and coordinates the war organization units' facility needs regarding war organization.
Leads and coordinates the war organization units' material needs regarding war organization.
Leads and coordinates the war organization units' war placement work.
The Training Officer's Primary Work Tasks
Leads, coordinates, and supports the war organization units' planning, preparation, and implementation of refresher training (RU); war organization exercises (KFÖ), special unit exercises (SÖF), special command exercises (SÖB), and war organization courses (KFK).
Supports the rest of the section's work.
You will also work with long-term planning, war organization assessments at battalion and/or brigade level, and gain good knowledge of Amf 4 and Gothenburg garrison.
Description of the Training Officer Position:
The Training Officer is part of KFS where the main work concerns RU. Within the scope of that work, close cooperation with other parts of the section is required. Since the section is organized as "a staff within the staff," certain preparations require all staff members in the section to participate in the preparation work for various plans. However, most of it is in cooperation with the personnel officer and conscription administrator. The Training Officer is responsible for long-term planning of RU (13 years), exercise planning responsibility, and participates in exercise management, for example as a deputy exercise leader. You must be prepared to, on the instruction of a senior officer, solve additional tasks within your own area of responsibility and competence.

Personal Qualities
The role of Training Officer requires you to independently and in cooperation with others be able to conduct long-term planning as well as carry out exercises/training. It requires a good ability to work in a group but also to be able to lead and coordinate work and activities in parallel. Performance requirements follow applicable plans where the activity should result in the war organization units having the right war readiness at the right time. Furthermore, high integrity, a solution-oriented approach, and good precision in carrying out work tasks are required. You are thorough and unpretentious, which also means you are a good team player. You have a good ability to express your opinions, are clear and communicative in your cooperation with many different actors in various processes. You are flexible and can handle periods of high workload.
Great weight will be placed on personal qualities in the selection process.
Meritorious
Relevant and current experience of work within the scope of RU (planning, implementation, and/or participation)
Relevant and current experience of planning and implementation of exercise planning
Experience of work within the scope of war organization planning
Experience of work in a war-organized or international staff
Other Information
Employment Form: 100% permanent according to the Officers Ordinance, with a probationary period of 6 months upon re-employment. Individual salary setting applies.

Travel and evening/weekend duty occurs
