Futuregames is now seeking a structured, confident, and committed education leader with location responsibility for our operations in Umeå. Here you'll have a key role within one of Europe's leading game development programs, combining education leadership, daily operations, and industry collaboration.
Futuregames educates tomorrow's game developers in close collaboration with the gaming industry. Our programs are developed together with leading studios and companies to ensure our students gain the skills demanded on the job market.
About the Role
As an education leader, you will drive and develop several of our educational programs. You ensure high quality in program delivery, build strong relationships with industry, and ensure operations comply with the Swedish Board of Vocational Higher Education regulations. In this role, you work closely with students, instructors, the business community, and internal functions.
You will also have location responsibility for operations in Umeå and operations in Boden (closing in May 2027), ensuring smooth daily operations with a pleasant learning environment and professional representation of Futuregames in the northern region.
This is a role for someone who thrives combining structure, administration, and quality with relationships, problem-solving, and continuous business development.
Your Main Responsibilities
Plan, staff, and ensure quality of programs according to Swedish Board of Vocational Higher Education regulations
Manage student contacts, administration, and scheduling
Monitor student progress, engagement, and results
Coordinate and develop company relationships regarding internships and industry collaboration
Contribute to program content development together with lead instructors and industry partners
Have operational and personnel responsibility for Futuregames in Umeå and for Boden during the closure period
Manage local work environment and daily operations at both locations

We're Looking for You
We believe you have experience in education leadership or project management and have previously held personnel responsibility. You have a post-secondary education in, for example, games, technology, media, pedagogy, or equivalent.
As a person, you are structured, self-driven, and confident, with strong administrative skills and high digital competence.
You are driven by creating good relationships and having many points of contact, which makes it easy for you to build trust with students, colleagues, and external partners. As a leader, you are coaching, inclusive, and solution-oriented. You communicate fluently in Swedish and English.
It is a plus if you have
Experience from vocational higher education or other post-secondary education
Experience with quality work or government-regulated education
Experience with change management or business development
Experience from the gaming industry or a network within the gaming sector
