Training and Development Leader, Storytelling Ministry North
STIFTELSEN BERÄTTARMINISTERIET · Full-time
Luleå C., Lulea, Sweden
The Storytelling Ministry is at a crucial stage. After years of growing operations, increased impact, and growing demand from schools, partners, and community stakeholders, we are establishing a physical presence in the North region (Norrbotten, Västerbotten, Jämtland, Västernorrland). We are seeking a training and development leader to be based in Luleå, with a mandate to strengthen and support teachers in the region in their professional practice and development. If you are a confident, relationship-building leader who is motivated by developing teaching together with teachers and schools, you might be the person we are looking for! The Storytelling Ministry is a non-profit, politically and religiously independent foundation that works to strengthen children's language, reading, and future confidence in schools where needs are greatest. Our work takes place close to teaching, together with teachers, and is built on a simple conviction: when children gain access to language, they also gain greater opportunity to understand the world, express themselves, and fully participate in society. We have many years of experience in the South, West, and East regions, and in recent years have begun establishing ourselves in the North region. Following a strong response from selected schools in the region, we are now making a physical establishment with a local team in place in Luleå, with the aim of serving the entire region.
