The Faculty of Social Sciences conducts research and education within a broad field of social sciences. We have, among other things, several established and sought-after professional education programs within the welfare sector—social worker, teacher, and police are a few examples—and research focused on the core of welfare. FSV consists of seven departments and a shared faculty office. Together, we are nearly 400 employees. The Faculty Office consists of over 35 employees with various functions in areas such as finance, education and research administration, internationalization, and study and career guidance. The office provides relevant, accessible, and effective operational support to the faculty's various departments in both Växjö and Kalmar. You work in several different administrative systems, with Ladok being one of them. You provide important support in the development of procedures and various governance documents. A large part of the work involves contact with and providing information to students, teachers, colleagues within and outside the office, and management. Communication occurs in both Swedish and English. Qualifications Requirements: We are looking for someone who has a bachelor's degree or other education that the employer considers equivalent. We expect you to have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in Swedish and English. You are experienced in managing (digital) administrative systems and have experience and the ability to handle and structure large amounts of information efficiently. You are service-oriented, thorough, and have the ability to work methodically. The position requires independence, but also good collaboration skills. Meritorious: Experience working at a university is an advantage, as is knowledge of the education system. We place great importance on personal suitability. Terms of Employment: Fixed-term employment until August 31, 2027 with possible opportunity for extension. Full-time position (100%). Start date: To be agreed upon, but no later than October 15, 2026.
