As an employee of Laholms Municipality, you work alongside colleagues from many different professions and backgrounds. What unites us is our mission and shared values: joy, courage, participation, commitment, and setting a good example.
The Community Development, Culture and Public Health Administration (SKF) is one of the country's broadest and most diversified administrations, comprising seven units (Fire and Rescue Service, Environmental Unit, Planning and Building Unit, Technical Unit, Meals Unit, Culture Unit, and Leisure Unit) plus an Administrative Staff. Our goal is to be a forward-thinking, change-oriented, and service-focused administration held together by our shared development work and commitment to strengthening each other in our respective professions. At SKF, we work at a fast pace with a broad range of municipal tasks, which requires our employees to look beyond their individual operations to contribute to the whole. Our operations answer to three political committees: the Community Development Committee, the Culture & Public Health Committee, and the Social Services Committee.
The Fire and Rescue Service has a strong and distinct culture where collaboration, open communication, and respect for our differences are important. The atmosphere is open and coaching-oriented, where we encourage each other and make each other better together.
There are high expectations of you as an employee, but there is also great confidence in your ability to perform. You will handle stimulating tasks and challenging projects. We strive for a healthy balance between work and personal life for lasting well-being. There are opportunities for flexible working hours and, where work permits, the possibility to work remotely.
