GAPF – Never Forget Pela and Fadime – is a non-profit, secular, and politically independent organization working to prevent and combat honor-based violence and oppression while strengthening the rights of those affected through advocacy, support, and education. Our training programs are in high demand across the country and are designed for schools, municipalities, government agencies, and other organizations that encounter or make decisions affecting people experiencing honor-based violence and oppression. We are now looking for an educator who wants to share knowledge, create engagement, and strengthen professionals' ability to recognize, prevent, and take action. About the Position We are seeking an experienced and organized educator responsible for delivering training in various formats, including digital and in-person lectures and workshops throughout the country. Working hours are goal-oriented, providing significant freedom with responsibility. Training is delivered both within our own projects and on behalf of external organizations. The position involves frequent travel around Sweden, recurring overnight stays, and work on certain weekends. Your Responsibilities Conduct in-person and digital lectures, training sessions, and workshops for students, school staff, municipalities, government agencies, and other professionals. Engage a broad target audience, including: • Students in primary and secondary schools • School staff • Social services • Municipalities • Government agencies • Non-profit organizations Adapt training content and format based on the target audience's needs and circumstances. Work closely with the education coordinator on planning, practical preparations, and follow-up of training initiatives. Participate in planning meetings and contribute to developing GAPF's training offerings and materials. Document and provide feedback on completed training sessions and share experiences to support organizational development. Travel to training assignments throughout the country, involving recurring overnight stays and work on certain evenings and weekends. Employment Terms Extent: 50–100% Employment Type: 1-year temporary position Location: GAPF office, Vattugatan 5, Stockholm Start Date and Salary: By agreement Qualifications – We are Looking for Someone Who: Has experience delivering lectures, training, or workshops. Feels comfortable speaking to both small and large groups. Has a pedagogical approach and can create participant engagement. Is self-directed, responsible, and flexible. Enjoys work involving frequent travel. It is Advantageous if You: Have knowledge of the subject matter – honor-based violence and oppression. Have education in social work, behavioral science, pedagogy, or another relevant field. Have experience working in schools, social services, government agencies, or civil society. Have experience training professionals. Have knowledge of children's rights and relevant legislation regarding honor-based violence and oppression.
