CE Instructor for Our Municipal Vocational Truck Driver Training

CE Instructor at YrkesAkademin in Kalmar YrkesAkademin in Kalmar is part of one of Sweden's leading education providers. We train professional drivers for trucks and buses within our municipal adult education segment as well as at our driving school in Kalmar, and we offer vocational training programs in several industries. Now we are looking for someone who wants to help shape the future of professional CE drivers. About the Position As a CE instructor, you are responsible for planning, delivering, and following up on instruction in modules related to heavy trucks with trailers (CE). You ensure high quality in both theory and practice and help our students achieve their goals and become employable. Responsibilities Plan, deliver, and examine instruction in CE-related subjects (theory, driving practice in traffic, load securing, etc.). Conduct individual follow-ups, feedback, and assessments in accordance with applicable regulations for municipal adult education. Collaborate with the principal, colleagues, and apprenticeship placements to ensure quality education. Contribute to the development of the educational program. Work actively to create a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment. Requirements CE driver's license for at least 3 years. Documented and current professional experience as a CE driver. Good Swedish proficiency (spoken and written), and ideally experience with digital tools, preferably in teaching. Merits Experience in training/mentoring (e.g., internal trainer, vocational teacher, instructor). Pedagogical education (e.g., vocational teacher training) or equivalent. Traffic instructor license for C, CE, and D categories. Category D driver's license for at least 3 years. You are organized, solution-oriented, and relationship-building – with the ability to motivate, set clear expectations, and provide constructive feedback.
