Description of Duties
The positions are located at Örtagården Preschool in Hyllinge, Piongården Preschool, and Bjärsbög Preschool in Åstorp.
As a childcare worker in our preschools, you are an important part of the educational work and actively contribute to creating a safe, educational, and joyful daily life for the children. You work together with preschool teachers and other staff members in your team to plan, implement, and follow up on activities based on the curriculum.
Your main duties include:
• Participating in educational work and supporting children's development and learning in both planned activities and free play
• Contributing to a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment where each child feels seen, acknowledged, and included
• Actively working with values-based questions and promoting good relationships between children, guardians, and colleagues
• Participating in documentation and reflection on children's learning processes together with your team
• Collaborating with colleagues in daily work and contributing to the development of the operations
• Maintaining good and professional communication with guardians in daily interactions
• Assisting with practical tasks such as meals, outdoor time, and care situations
Interviews will be held on Friday, August 21.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is engaged and responsible, with a strong interest in children's development and learning. You work well with others and bring a positive and solution-oriented approach to your work.
You have completed a childcare worker education.
You have strong command of Swedish, both spoken and written.
Åstorp Municipality applies individual and differentiated salary setting, taking into account the employee's experience, competence, and prevailing market conditions. An annual salary review is conducted where employees are compensated according to our salary criteria: clarity, courage, attentiveness, commitment, and quality. Employment in Åstorp Municipality is covered by the collective agreement General Terms.
Salary form: Monthly salary.
Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: Start date: 2026-09-01 By agreement. End date: 2026-12-31.
