Your Assignment with Us Upsalahem's maintenance unit is in an exciting development phase and is now seeking a project manager who can drive our major projects. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and driving large renovation and reconstruction projects in our existing housing portfolio, from planning to completion. The projects are often complex and encompass multiple technical disciplines, large investment volumes, and many internal and external stakeholders. You will have overall responsibility for project implementation and will lead the project organization through the entire project lifecycle. The role involves close collaboration with both internal colleagues and contractors, consultants, and authorities. Many of our projects are carried out with tenants in place, which places high demands on planning, communication, and coordination. Creating good conditions for both operations and our tenants is therefore an important part of the assignment. Your Main Responsibilities: Responsible for the project's business, finances, quality, and results Lead the project organization through all phases of the projects Plan, control, and monitor project implementation Coordinate multiple technical disciplines and contracts Drive procurement and business decisions Build strong collaborations with internal and external stakeholders Who Are You? You are an experienced project manager with good knowledge of the various stages of the building process. You drive projects forward, have a holistic perspective, and manage complex assignments with many stakeholders. You combine technical understanding with business acumen and make well-founded decisions. As a person, you are structured, communicative, and confident in your leadership role. You build trust through clarity, collaboration, and a solution-oriented approach, and you enjoy contributing to development. The unit is undergoing change, which means that working methods and processes evolve over time. Therefore, we believe you enjoy a changing environment where you can be involved and have an influence. We are looking for someone who has: University or college degree in construction, real estate, or civil engineering or similar field Multiple years of experience in project management within construction or maintenance Experience in financial management, monitoring, and business project responsibility Experience with procurement and work according to AB/ABT, preferably also LOU Good communication skills in Swedish and English Class B driver's license Meritorious: Experience with collaborative contracting, partnering, or projects with tenants in place.
