Your Assignment with Us We are seeking four project engineers for the Real Estate Development department at Uppsalahem who want to contribute to the implementation of our major maintenance and new construction projects. In this role, you will work closely with the project manager and project team, with a main focus on supporting project follow-up and coordination, for example in economics, administration, sustainability, and work environment. You have a central role in creating structure and good control in the projects. As a project engineer, you are an operational support resource to the project manager throughout the entire project—from planning to completion and closure, and you collaborate with both internal colleagues and external contractors and consultants. You will belong to either the maintenance or new construction unit and will report to the respective manager. Your Main Responsibilities: Work closely with the project manager and be an active part of the project team through participation in meetings, coordination, follow-up, and the project's daily work. Compile, visualize, and follow up on economics, quality, time, and resources in the form of forecasts and reports for each assigned project. Participate in procurement work and prepare materials in collaboration with the project manager and procurement unit. Contribute to efficient communication and coordination in the project. Who Are You? We are looking for someone who has: A university/college degree in construction, real estate, or similar, or equivalent experience. A driver's license (Class B). Very good knowledge of Swedish with the ability to express yourself well in both speech and writing. If you also have a few years of experience from the construction, contracting, or real estate industry in a coordinating or supporting role, that is meriting. We believe you are at the beginning of your career in the construction or real estate industry, with a desire to learn and develop both in the role of project engineer and in the industry.
