Your Responsibilities
The position is placed in the procurement unit at the economic department, which is responsible for the agency's procurement and purchasing matters. You will be part of a team with other procurement professionals who work in close collaboration with other parts of the organization.
The procurement unit leads, coordinates, and develops the Prosecution Authority's purchasing and procurement activities. The procurement unit conducts various purchases and procurements, enables efficient purchasing, manages contracts, assists in appeals processes and disputes, and provides the agency with qualified advice on procurement, purchasing, and contract matters.
As a procurement lawyer, your main responsibilities will be:
Conduct procurements and call-offs (in accordance with the Public Procurement Act) for the agency's needs
Together with the unit, manage and develop the unit's templates, and conduct quality reviews from a procurement law perspective
Assist in handling appeals and contract disputes
Manage and follow up on concluded contracts from a legal perspective
Provide qualified support and advice to the procurement unit and other operations on procurement matters
You will have many contacts both within and outside the agency.
Your Qualities and Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has
A degree in law
At least two years of full-time experience working as a public procurement officer or procurement lawyer
Good knowledge of laws and regulations governing public procurement
Experience managing varying work tasks
Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing
It is meritorious if you have:
Experience conducting procurements
Experience handling an appeals process
Experience handling business disputes within procured contracts
Experience conducting contract monitoring

About the Employment

The position is classified as a security position and therefore security clearance with record checks will be conducted.
