We at the Strategic Procurement Unit are now looking for three procurement officers: one position focused on IT/telephony and communications, one on healthcare and social services, and one on construction. Your responsibilities In our strategic procurement process, you will work with procurements mainly within your category area: IT/telephony and communications, healthcare and social services, or construction. If you work in the IT/telephony and communications category, you will primarily work with IT procurements. You will lead the entire procurement process together with clients from the city's departments. In your work, you will have support from, among others, legal counsel and of course your colleagues in the category team and other important functions in the unit. In addition to your procurement work, you will contribute your knowledge and commitment to development and improvement work that we conduct in the unit. All to deliver the best possible support to the city with smooth and efficient processes. During 2026, we continue to work toward sustainable and good deals where the focus will include implementing category management and clarifying the city's strategic procurement process. Your qualifications We are looking for someone who, like us, strives to always provide the best possible interaction. You contribute to making us a leading strategic procurement unit. We are looking for someone who is driven and self-directed but who also enjoys and is skilled at interacting and collaborating with others. You have relevant post-secondary education for the position you are applying for. You need to have solid experience independently conducting procurements, and we would like to see that you have knowledge and experience with procurements in the area you are applying for: IT/telephony and communications, healthcare and social services, or construction. It is important that you speak and write Swedish at a very high level and that you have good knowledge of the Public Procurement Act and system experience with procurement tools, preferably e-Avrop. If you have several years of experience working in procurement, we consider that highly valuable, particularly if you have years of experience in IT. The same applies if you have experience with category-managed approaches and/or have worked in a politically governed organization.
