Sweden's most beautiful workplace is seeking a Mission Leader with placement in Norrköping or Arkö In maritime and aviation accidents, the Swedish Maritime Administration is responsible for rescue services, Search and Rescue (SAR). The Swedish Maritime Administration is responsible for providing a system of maritime and aviation rescue according to applicable laws and conventions. The system consists of close cooperation with several external resources. An important part of this is providing maritime and aviation rescue training. The majority of these trainings are conducted on the beautiful island of Arkö, at the Maritime and Aviation Rescue School, where we are now seeking a development-oriented Mission Leader. Job Responsibilities You will have the opportunity to contribute to and lead the development of existing and new training programs. With us, you will have a breadth of tasks where you participate, lead investigations/assignments/projects both small and large. You will also work with administrative tasks, distribution of SAR documents in text and audio format. You will also actively participate in environmental monitoring where you, together with your colleagues, apply new knowledge to practice in our operations. As we conduct our activities on Arkö, you will also serve as a Boat Operator when needed for our participants. In the role of Mission Leader, you will handle procurement, service, and maintenance of training materials, boats, and facilities. Who Are You? We are seeking someone who has completed relevant upper secondary education or work experience that is considered equivalent. Furthermore, you have SAR competency and boating experience. We consider it advantageous if you have: • experience or training in project management • nautical competency • Class 8 certification in technical education (marine engineer Class 8 or similar) • experience working in public sector operations • experience with administration/procurement • experience with maintenance work We will place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
