Within the Swedish Police Authority's IT Department, we develop systems that are crucial for Sweden's border control and provide police with better conditions to prevent and combat crime. We are now seeking an experienced project manager for the Crime Prevention Operations Systems - Border Control section in Norrköping. In this role, you will lead the development of national systems with connections to EU-wide solutions and international collaborations. The section is responsible for technically complex workflows and systems, where security, integrity, and usability are the focus of all our solutions. You will lead work in an agile environment characterized by new development and a focus on cutting-edge technology. Through your work, you will contribute to a safer society! Job Description As a project manager, you drive planning, follow-up, and communication for our assignments. You are our natural point of contact externally and build strong relationships with various stakeholders in other groups within IT and operations. Your primary responsibility is to be there for your team by leading the agile development team, ensuring the conditions for successful deliveries, and making sure the team develops together and enjoys working. By setting long-term and short-term goals, you ensure that the team focuses on value and results and that everyone knows what needs to be accomplished. We have an agile mindset where we support each other, deliver together, and are always there to help where it's needed most. Qualifications We are looking for someone who has: A degree from at least a three-year education in an area relevant to the position from a university/college, or alternatively equivalent work experience that the Swedish Police Authority deems equivalent. At least 4 years of experience leading, planning, and coordinating a development team's assignments from start to delivery in roles such as product owner, project manager, or team lead Multiple years of experience leading projects using agile methodology in development teams Very good command of Swedish and good command of English, both spoken and written The position requires Swedish citizenship It is a merit if you have experience with the following: Gathering operational needs and converting them to requirements Technical system management Personal Qualities We are looking for someone who is engaged, structured, and has an agile mindset.
