About the workplace The Assignment Unit is a small operation consisting of four handlers who work closely together as a team. The unit's mission is to implement decisions made by the Care and Service Administration's authority. Work tasks As a handler, you are responsible for, among other things, recruiting, matching, and investigating suitable candidates for LSS services: contact person, companion, relief worker, and support family based on decisions from LSS handlers. You also work with companion services according to the Social Services Act (SoL) based on decisions from benefit officers. Follow-up of implementation is a natural part of the assignment. The work is broad with several processes running in parallel. You have good opportunities to influence and shape your daily work. The unit is in constant development, and you are expected to actively contribute to advancing the work and participate in shaping the unit's continued development. Qualifications You need to have a degree in social work or another equivalent education that the employer deems equivalent. Communication is a significant part of the work, and it is therefore important that you are able to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. Furthermore, it is important that you have good computer skills. It is advantageous if you have experience working in a similar role, handling cases concerning adults, children and youth, and experience with recruitment work. We see a great advantage if you have knowledge and experience with the LSS target group.
