About Us
At the Department of Health Sciences (HV), education is offered at basic and advanced levels in the nursing program and six specialist nursing programs. Research in nursing science is conducted with focus areas on people's health and learning in various research groups, with emphasis on patients of all ages and their relatives, professional development, and method and theory development. We are seeking a university lecturer and two doctoral university adjuncts who are licensed nurses. The position is part of a long-term initiative to build up our academic capacity in teaching and research to meet future needs.
In autumn 2025, implementation of a new nursing program at Örebro University began. The new program has increased focus on clinical and academic competence and closer collaboration with regional and municipal healthcare actors.

Duties
As a university lecturer, you will dedicate your work time primarily to teaching in the nursing program and at advanced level. The position also includes research and associated collaboration. Your duties include, in addition to teaching, research, and collaboration, development work, administration, professional development, and keeping up with knowledge development in your field. Teaching may include course responsibility, examination duties, supervision, assessment, course development, planning, and evaluation.
