The Department of Culture and Media Studies is advertising a position as a substitute university lecturer in literature studies. The position is full-time starting January 1, 2027.
Job Duties
The job duties include teaching, supervision, examination and professional development. The position mainly concerns teaching and supervision at undergraduate and advanced levels in literature studies and creative writing. In addition, teaching within the framework of teacher training may also be included. Teaching takes place both on campus and online. The job duties also include teaching-related administration as well as personnel, subject and planning meetings.
Professional development time is included and corresponds to 20% of working time.
Qualifications for Employment as University Lecturer
To be eligible for employment as a university lecturer, one must have demonstrated pedagogical aptitude and have obtained a doctorate in literature studies, or have equivalent scientific competence, or have some other professional skill that is significant in relation to the subject content of the position and the work tasks involved in the employment.
Good language skills in Swedish (or another Scandinavian language) and English, as well as the ability to teach in these languages, are required for the position.
