About Unika Slalomvägen:
The residence is an adapted group home for PK1 with six spaces on the outskirts of Enköping. The local area offers shops, a swimming facility, beach area, jogging paths, and outdoor recreation areas.
The residence has staff available 24/7, and staffing is adjusted based on the group's needs. All residents have their own contact person who has special responsibility for their resident. About the Role of Support Assistant
As a support assistant, you will work in a team providing individually tailored support primarily in a specific assignment to a resident in the home with functional variations and mental health challenges, with the goal of promoting their independence and well-being in everyday life. You will support the resident in their daily routines and activities, based on their needs and abilities, using the personal implementation plan and the assignment regarding the resident as your starting point.
We work with a salutogenic and pedagogical approach, where we start from each individual's unique strengths and resources. The goal is for residents to achieve as much independence as possible and be able to live a meaningful life with high quality of life. As a support assistant, you work using clarifying pedagogy and low-affective interaction to create security and predictability in residents' daily lives. At the same time, we have a strong focus on working professionally and efficiently within the organization's resources and budget.
Qualifications
You are relationship-building, calm, stable, and can maintain a realistic perspective on situations that arise in daily work. You have good collaborative skills and relate to others in a responsive way, and you enjoy working together with others. You are an independent, humble, and responsible person who is passionate about care work and can see the individual's needs.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability, experience, and competence.
Requirements:
Very good ability in Swedish, both spoken and written.
Good computer skills, experience with documentation.
Documented experience of previous work in care and support with the target group within LSS.
Upper secondary education focused on care of people with disabilities, or post-secondary education such as support pedagogue, social pedagogue, or higher education in a relevant field.
Experience/training in psychiatry, AAC, and low-affective interaction.
Desirable if you also have:
Worked with complex support needs.
Terms of Employment
Employment form: Permanent position with a 6-month probationary period. Position: 3 positions at approximately 90% working hours. Work schedule: Day/evening shifts and every third weekend. Start date: According to agreement; we view positively if you can start shortly at the August/September transition. Collective agreement: We are bound by collective agreements through Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Sector E.
