About the Role of Support Assistant
As a Support Assistant, you will provide individually tailored support to people with functional variations, with the goal of promoting their independence and wellbeing in daily life. You will assist clients with their daily routines and activities based on their needs and abilities, always using their personal implementation plan as your starting point.
We work with a salutogenic and educational approach, drawing on each individual's unique strengths and resources. The goal is for clients to achieve maximum independence and live meaningful lives with high quality of life. As a Support Assistant, you will apply clarifying pedagogy and low-affect interaction to create safety and predictability in clients' daily lives. At the same time, we maintain a strong focus on working professionally and efficiently within our operational resources and budget.
Qualifications
You are relationship-oriented, calm, stable, and can maintain a realistic perspective on situations that arise in daily work. You have strong collaborative skills and relate to others in an attentive manner, and you enjoy cooperating with teammates. You are an independent, humble, and responsible person who is passionate about care work and can recognize individuals' needs.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
Requirements:
Very strong Swedish language skills, both spoken and written.
Good computer proficiency and experience with documentation.
Experience working in healthcare and social care.
Upper secondary education such as a children's and youth program, healthcare and social care program, or post-secondary education such as support pedagogue, social pedagogue, or higher education in a relevant field.
Experience in psychiatry and low-affect interaction.
Employment Terms
Employment Type: Permanent Contract
Hours: 80-100%
Work Schedule: Days, evenings, weekends
Start Date: By mutual agreement; we welcome candidates who can start soon.
Collective Agreement: We are bound by the collective agreement with Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Sector E.
We have a 6-month probationary period.
