About Unika Billdal Unika Billdal is a group home for individuals with developmental variations within the Autism spectrum, or in combination with intellectual developmental variations. The group home serves both men and women over 18 years of age. The group home is located approximately a 10-minute walk from the Kungsporten area in Billdal, making it easy to commute to and from the facility by public transportation. Unika Billdal has 6 modern apartments. The group home has been in operation for approximately 5 years. About the Support Assistant Role As a support assistant, you will work to provide individually tailored support to individuals with developmental variations, with the goal of promoting their independence and well-being in daily life. You will support the residents in their daily routines and activities, based on their needs and abilities, and always use their individual support plans as your point of departure. We work with a salutogenic and pedagogical approach, where we start from each individual's unique strengths and resources. The goal is for residents to achieve as much independence as possible and live a meaningful life with high quality of life. As a support assistant, you work with clear pedagogical methods and low-affect communication to create security and predictability in the residents' daily lives. At the same time, we have a strong focus on working professionally and efficiently within the organization's resources and budget. Qualifications You are relationship-oriented, calm, stable, and can maintain a realistic perspective on situations that arise in daily work. You have good collaboration skills and relate to others in a responsive manner, and you enjoy working with others. You are an independent, humble, and responsible person who is passionate about care work and can recognize an individual's needs. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Requirements: Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written. Good computer skills, experience with documentation. Experience working in healthcare and care services. Upper secondary education such as child and leisure program, healthcare and care program, or post-secondary education such as support pedagogue, social pedagogue, or higher education in a relevant field. Meritorious if you also have: Experience in psychiatry, AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), and low-affect communication. Experience working with complex support needs. Employment Terms Employment Type: As needed. Hours: Varying. Working Hours: Irregular hours Monday-Sunday, day, evening, and overnight on-call shifts.
