About the Role of Support Assistant As a support assistant, you will work to provide individually tailored support to people with functional variations, with the goal of promoting their independence and well-being in everyday life. You will support residents in their daily routines and activities based on their needs and abilities, always using their personal implementation plan as a starting point. We work with a salutogenic and pedagogical approach, where we start from each individual's unique strengths and resources. The goal is for residents to achieve as much independence as possible and be able to live a meaningful life with high quality of life. As a support assistant, you work using clarifying pedagogy and low-arousal approaches to create safety and predictability in residents' daily lives. At the same time, we have a strong focus on working professionally and efficiently within the organization's resources and budget. Qualifications You are relationship-building, calm, stable, and can maintain a realistic perspective on situations that arise in daily work. You have good collaboration skills and relate to others in a responsive way, and enjoy working with others. You are an independent, humble, and responsible person who is passionate about care work and can see the individual's needs. We place great importance on personal suitability. Requirements: Very good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written. Good computer skills and experience with documentation. Experience working in health and social care. Secondary education such as child and leisure program, health and care program, or post-secondary education such as support pedagogue, social pedagogue, or higher education in a relevant field. Meritorious if you also have: Experience in psychiatry, AAC, and low-arousal approaches. Experience working with complex support needs.
