About the Operation The group home focuses on LSS 9:9 for user group 1 and is operated by Unika LSS Omsorg on behalf of Stockholm City's Northern Inner City district. The residence has 5 places and staffing around the clock. We are now seeking an employee who can take on the role of Support Assistant at our unit. About the Role of Support Assistant As a support assistant, you will work providing individually tailored support to people with functional variations, with the goal of promoting their independence and well-being in everyday life. You will support users in their daily routines and activities, based on their needs and abilities, and always use their personal implementation plan as your starting point. We work with a salutogenic and pedagogical approach, where we start from each individual's unique strengths and resources. The goal is for users to achieve as much independence as possible and be able to live a meaningful life with high quality of life. As a support assistant, you work using clarifying pedagogy and low-affect interaction to create safety and predictability in users' daily lives. At the same time, we have a strong focus on working professionally and efficiently within the operation's resources and budget. Qualifications You are relationship-building, calm, stable, and can maintain a realistic perspective on situations that arise in daily work. You have good collaboration skills and relate to others in a responsive manner and enjoy working together with others. You are an independent, humble, and responsible person who is passionate about care work and can see the individual's needs. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Requirements: Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written. Good computer skills, experience with documentation. Experience working in health and care. Secondary education such as child and leisure program, health and care program, or post-secondary education such as support pedagogue, social pedagogue, or university education in a relevant field. Meritorious if you also have: Experience in psychiatry, AAC, and low-affect interaction. Knowledge of TAKK. Worked with complex support needs. Terms of Employment Employment type: Permanent with 6-month probation period. Degree of employment: 100%. Working hours: Day, evening, and alternating weekends on a rotating schedule.
