About Unika Motala The group home specializes in LSS 9:9 for individuals in category 1, serving people with intellectual disabilities, autism or autism-like conditions, comorbidities, psychiatric diagnoses, and self-injurious behavior. The facility is centrally located in Motala. The residence has 6 places and staff around the clock. We are now looking for a dedicated and confident team member to join us. About the Role of Support Assistant As a support assistant, you will work to provide individually tailored support to people with functional variations, with the goal of promoting their independence and well-being in daily life. You will support the residents in their daily routines and activities, based on their needs and abilities, and always use the residents' personal implementation plans as your starting point. We work with a salutogenic and pedagogical approach, drawing on each individual's unique strengths and resources. The goal is for our residents to achieve as much independence as possible and live a meaningful life with high quality of life. As a support assistant, you work based on clarifying pedagogy and low-affect interaction to create security and predictability in the residents' everyday life. At the same time, we maintain a strong focus on working professionally and efficiently within the facility's resources and budget. Qualifications You are relationship-building, calm, stable, and can maintain a realistic perspective on situations that arise in daily work. You have good collaboration skills and relate to others in a responsive way, and you enjoy cooperating with others. You are an independent, humble, and responsible person who is passionate about care work and can recognize individuals' needs. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Requirements: Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written. Good computer skills and experience with documentation. Experience working in healthcare and care services. Driver's license. Secondary education such as child and leisure program, healthcare and care program, or post-secondary education such as support educator, social pedagogue, or higher education in a relevant field. Experience working with people with self-injurious behavior. Meritorious if you also have: Experience in psychiatry, AAC, and low-affect interaction. Worked with complex support needs. Employment Terms Employment Type: Permanent position preceded by a 6-month probationary period. Position: Approximately 100% Hours: Day, evening, weekend, and sleep-in shifts, rotating schedule. Start Date: By agreement; we look favorably upon starting soon. Collective Agreement: We are bound by collective agreements with Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Sector E. What Can We Offer You?
