About Unika in Trollhättan Would you like the opportunity to be part of developing an operation from the ground up? Unika LSS has been given the opportunity to operate two newly established operations in Trollhättan, with startup planned for fall 2026. The operations consist of a group home and a service home. We are now seeking support assistants for both operations. The operations are located on Spetsgatan and Granbarrsvägen. About the Role of Support Assistant As a support assistant, you will work providing individually tailored support to people with functional variations, with the goal of promoting their independence and well-being in daily life. You will support users in their daily routines and activities, based on their needs and abilities, and always use their personal implementation plan as your starting point. We work with a salutogenic and pedagogical approach, where we build on each individual's unique strengths and resources. The goal is for users to achieve as much independence as possible and live a meaningful life with high quality of life. As a support assistant, you work based on clarifying pedagogy and low-arousal interaction to create safety and predictability in users' daily lives. At the same time, we have a strong focus on working professionally and efficiently within the operation's resources and budget. Qualifications You are relationship-building, calm, stable, and can maintain a realistic perspective on situations that arise in daily work. You have good collaboration skills and relate to others in a responsive way, and you enjoy working together with others. You are an independent, humble, and responsible person who is passionate about care work and can see the individual's needs. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Requirements: Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written. Good computer skills, experience with documentation. Experience working in health and care. Upper secondary education such as child and youth program, health and care program, or post-secondary education such as support pedagogue, social pedagogue, or university education in a relevant field. Meritorious if you also have: Experience in psychiatry, AAC, and low-arousal interaction. Worked with complex support needs. Employment Terms Employment type: Permanent position, with 6-month probation period Grade of service: Varying Work hours: Day, evening and weekends or night shift (awake only) at the group home. Day, evening, on-call nights and weekends at the service home. Start date: By agreement, planned startup is October 1, 2026. Collective agreement: We are bound by collective agreement with Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Sector E. What Can We Offer You?
