We are now seeking a youth coach to join our team in Östergötland. We offer training and a rewarding job where you make a real difference! This is a part-time hourly position with varying hours. It's a perfect job if you have other employment but need additional work. The position is primarily based during daytime hours. We are a small team of five youth workers/coaches and one unit manager. About the role As a youth coach, you will work based on the individual needs and wishes of our residents, providing support in daily life using a pedagogical approach. Together with your colleagues, you work toward making each day meaningful and enriching. You will support and guide residents based on their implementation plans. An important part of the role is to motivate and encourage residents to develop their abilities and create opportunities for active and meaningful leisure time. Your tasks also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans. Work hours are primarily daytime, with occasional planned evening shifts. Your experience and knowledge You have a high school diploma in social work or equivalent education. You have excellent Swedish language skills, both spoken and written, good computer skills, and experience with documentation. It is a merit if you have experience working with this target group. Otherwise, your CV is not the most important thing. If you have the right qualities, we will support you and give you the opportunity to grow. Requirements include a valid driver's license and access to your own vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided), as all work takes place at various locations, such as residents' apartments spread across Norrköping, Söderköping, and Linköping. You have a positive outlook, strong commitment to people, and are responsible. You enjoy working in a team, supporting your colleagues, and always have our residents' best interests in mind.
