Our mission is not to create activities for young people, but to create conditions for young people to create together with us. We are seeking a youth worker who wants to work long-term with relationships, participation, and development. The position involves work at several recreational centers, some mobile activities, and travel between our facilities. A driver's license (Category B) is required. Your Assignment You meet young people in their everyday lives and build relationships characterized by trust, respect, and curiosity. Using a coaching approach, you help young people discover ideas, develop them, and realize them together with others. Sometimes they come with a ready-made idea, but just as often it's about inspiring engagement in someone who doesn't yet know what they want to do. For us, the assignment is not primarily about carrying out activities. It's about leading processes where young people have the opportunity to have a say, take responsibility, collaborate, and develop. A typical workday might involve meeting young people after school, supporting a group that wants to implement a project or event, collaborating with schools, community organizations, and other municipal activities, and following up on the activities together with your colleagues. When opportunities arise, you may also participate in international youth projects through Erasmus+. The work includes day, evening, and some weekend shifts. During school holidays, working hours may vary. Digital tools are used for planning, communication, documentation, and follow-up, including the KEKS quality tool. Experience in youth work, pedagogical work, process management, or work with youth participation is advantageous. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
