Teach Swedish to Adults - Part-time/Side Job (Stockholm)

Do you want to inspire others to learn Swedish – in a flexible and fun way? We're looking for someone who wants to make a real difference by helping people develop their language skills – whether they are beginners or already further along in their journey. At Upgrades, you'll become part of an engaged team of language coaches, where you have the freedom to plan your work while always having support behind you. About the Role As a language coach, you'll work with both individuals and corporate groups in the Greater Stockholm area. You plan the teaching yourself based on participants' goals and level – which makes every assignment varied and developmental. Here's what an assignment might look like: 1–2 sessions per week 90 minutes per session Assignments lasting 10–20 weeks Teaching at the client's location or by agreement We provide course materials and give you inspiration for lesson planning – but you have great freedom to put your own mark on it. Who We Think You Are: You like working independently and enjoy motivating others - you're passionate about languages and people. Engaged and flexible Pedagogical and communicative Structured but also creative Responsive to different individuals' needs We'd like to see that you: Have fluent Swedish skills (including grammar) Can communicate in English Have experience with teaching or coaching Have planned lessons before Have the ability to take on at least two assignments Can teach in person in Greater Stockholm Extra plus if you also have: Knowledge of German, French, Spanish, or other languages (not required, but a merit) Work experience from companies/organizations Knowledge of CEFR Pedagogical training Experience with online teaching Why Upgrades?
