The position is located in the Social Services Department, which works to offer residents in Gnesta Municipality good and accessible service based on individual needs. We are responsible for the municipality's care for individuals and families, elderly, people with disabilities, municipal health and medical care, as well as employment, integration, and adult education. The department works on behalf of the Social Services Board.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We are now seeking additional nursing assistants/care aides for permanent monthly employment at Home Care Gnesta Countryside, where together with us you want to provide the best possible care and support to our elderly care recipients.
Working in home care means you support and assist care recipients in their own homes based on approved services. Your work includes practical help with personal hygiene, meal support, activities, laundry, cleaning, shopping, accompanying for appointments such as doctor visits, social documentation, and more.
You will also perform health and medical care tasks following instruction and delegation from a nurse, such as administering insulin and medications. As a nursing assistant/care aide in home care, you get varied work where you contribute to a dignified and meaningful life.
Working hours are flexible and may include days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
QUALIFICATIONS
We value appropriate care training, preferably nursing assistant certification. You need to have good interpersonal skills, the ability to provide people with support and help, and be genuinely considerate, engaged, and responsible in your work.
You must be 18 years old and have good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written. Since social documentation is done digitally, computer skills and the ability to handle digital tools are also necessary.
Since Home Care Gnesta Countryside has many care recipients in rural areas and on the outskirts of Gnesta, a category B driver's license is required, though walking and cycling trips also occur.
