As a nursing assistant, you are a valuable key player who contributes to our residents having a safe and meaningful life in their later years. We always work based on the residents' wishes and abilities, and focus on what is healthy. As a nursing assistant, you are responsible for providing dignified and good care based on each elderly person's individual needs. Common work tasks can include help with daily personal care, medication administration, documentation, support during activities, meal service, and light cleaning in the residents' apartments. You will get to participate in everything from educational care moments to enjoyable activities with the residents. A truly exciting job! About Fryken Care Home Fryken is located at Rud in Karlstad. Fryken has 47 places distributed across 5 units for people with dementia. We have staff around the clock, and our vision is to create a good life—every day for our residents. We offer group activities every weekday in our common room Solglimten and activities on the units daily as well as on an individual level once a week. Fryken has walking groups that offer our residents outdoor time every day. On weekends our residents are served hotel breakfast and every Saturday a 3-course dinner is served. We are looking for you who are a nursing assistant with a professional certificate from the Swedish Board of Health and Welfare It is meritorious if you have previous experience as a nursing assistant in elderly care You need to have good knowledge of the Social Services Act You must speak Swedish well, both verbally and in writing We would appreciate it if you have knowledge of documenting according to Social Services Act and IBIC Other information Employment type: Hourly position Start date: By agreement We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement.
