The group currently consists of 15 employees. The service users we support live scattered in rural areas, which means you'll spend part of your workday driving between different service users' homes. You therefore need to be comfortable driving and appreciate the variety that rural work offers. Working hours vary between day shifts, evenings, and every other weekend. 5 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a nursing assistant in elderly care, you work with support, care, and assistance for service users in their daily lives, with all interventions based on the individual needs of the service user. Work takes place in and around the service user's own home, and your responsibility includes creating conditions for good quality of life and meaningful existence for those we serve. Creating social contact and promoting the service user's mental well-being through conversation and community is a large part of the work. Your job responsibilities include, among others: • assisting service users with personal care such as showering, dressing, and toilet visits • supporting with meals and ensuring the service user eats and drinks according to individual needs • performing daily household tasks such as laundry, cleaning, dishes, and bed-making • assisting with certain errands • documentation Delegated tasks from nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists are also part of the work. QUALIFICATIONS • nursing assistant training, but we also welcome you if you are in the final stages of your education • good knowledge of both spoken and written Swedish as language is our primary tool • basic IT skills based on documentation requirements • B-class driver's license as travel to and from service users is part of the workday. Beyond the above requirements, we are looking for you as a reliable and stable person who maintains a professional approach even in challenging situations. You are self-directed and take responsibility for your work with the service user as the focus, which also makes it important that you can adapt to different situations and needs that arise in daily life. That you have a genuine interest in helping and ensuring the service user has a safe and secure home environment is something we take for granted. Further, you contribute to a positive work climate by collaborating well with colleagues, service users, and family members. You follow procedures and ensure that care maintains high quality, and you have the ability to think creatively to meet each service user's individual needs in the best way.
