We are recruiting nursing assistants for several of Uppsala Municipality's home care service areas. You will work in clients' homes and travel between visits by bicycle year-round. With us, you will have independent work and support from experienced colleagues and managers. As a nursing assistant, you work in clients' own homes and help them with both care and practical daily tasks. In most of our home care service areas, travel between clients is by bicycle. It is not always possible to use a car or walk between visits, so you need to be comfortable cycling year-round. We use well-equipped and well-maintained bicycles so you can get around safely and securely. This position is full-time. You work day and evening shifts, and every other weekend. Your responsibilities As a nursing assistant, you will provide personal care and help clients with meals, hygiene, cleaning, and shopping. You also perform delegated tasks and document according to applicable procedures and legislation. The role also includes being a support for both clients and their families, and contributing to good and professional collaboration in the team. Qualifications You need to: Be a trained nursing assistant Communicate well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing Be able to cycle year-round It is an advantage if you have: A Category B driver's license Experience in elderly care or other care services Personal qualities To thrive in this role, you need to be confident, responsible, and able to work independently. At the same time, you are a team player who collaborates with colleagues and other professionals. You are attentive in your interactions with clients and adapt your approach to their needs.
