Strandgården is a specially designed residential facility beautifully located right by the sea, with lovely walking paths and a fantastic swimming spot accessible to everyone. Strandgården consists of three units: one for cognitive impairment and two somatic units. Thirty-five residents live at Strandgården, all of whom should have the opportunity to live a good life. Around the clock, our staff works to ensure this through a salutogenic approach. Strandgården operates as an internal venture, which means we manage our own scheduling, have greater participation in decisions affecting the operation through ombudsman meetings, and we have recently renovated and fresh facilities. We work in teams with coordinating nursing assistants on each unit. Your Responsibilities At Strandgården, the resident is always in focus – every day, in every interaction. Your work in care and elderly support is not just about providing assistance, but about creating security, participation, and quality of life. Through active quality work, documentation, and continuous follow-up, you contribute to good quality and make a real difference. As a contact person, you and the resident are at the heart of the operation. Together with the resident, you develop an implementation plan that reflects their needs and wishes. We are proud of our operation and actively work to be ambassadors for elderly care. At Strandgården, joy, professionalism, and care are at the center – where we actively work with the best approach. We are also always curious about trying new things and often participate in research projects or pilot tests of, for example, digital tools. About You You are a trained nursing assistant with a genuine interest in people and their well-being. You enjoy meeting with others, like working in teams, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment where we help each other and learn from one another. With your commitment, care, and unpretentious approach, you create security and quality in care. You take responsibility for your work, are flexible, and see possibilities in everyday situations – always with the residents' best interests in focus. You work in a goal-oriented and structured manner, while your humanistic view of people permeates everything you do. For you, it is natural to meet each individual with respect, warmth, and professionalism. We also see that you have good physical fitness and feel comfortable using digital tools in your work.
