About the workplace Rotviksbro Care and Residential Home is located in western Uddevalla in a rural setting with views of both the sea and forest, and has a fantastic outdoor environment. Rotviksbro is a residential facility with 3 somatic units and 3 dementia units. There are a total of 60 apartments distributed across 6 units. The units' physical design encourages community and proximity to staff. Your main responsibilities are to: Provide good nursing care to the residents with focus on their well-being and safety. Support and assist residents in their daily activities and personal care, adapted to each individual's specific needs. Work as a team to ensure high quality care and services, where collaboration and communication are in focus. Carry out delegated healthcare tasks. Encourage and motivate residents toward a meaningful daily life by creating a positive and stimulating environment. Document and follow up on residents' needs based on their care plan and life story. Contribute with creativity and initiative, so that together we can develop and improve our working methods and objectives. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is engaged, empathetic and has a genuine interest in working with people living with dementia and physically ill elderly. To succeed in this role, we see that you have the following qualifications: Education: We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant and can demonstrate a protected professional title. Language skills: You have sufficient command of Swedish in speech and writing to communicate with residents, families and document according to applicable guidelines. You must be able to demonstrate acceptable results in our language assessment. IT and documentation: You have basic computer skills and experience with documentation in healthcare systems, preferably Lifecare or similar. Driver's license: Class B driver's license is required given that local transportation is limited. Meriting factors - Experience working in dementia care - Experience working in team-based care with methodological support such as Senior Alert and BPSD Other information The position involves work on days, evenings and weekends.
