Psychosis Care Stockholm is a newly established operation within the Stockholm County Healthcare Region. Here we centralize care for patients over 18 years old with psychotic disorders in a single organizational unit. We offer assessment, evaluation, and treatment according to national guidelines and regional care programs. Within Psychosis Care Stockholm, we conduct development work, education, and research on psychotic disorders. We work in multidisciplinary teams to provide the best possible care and treatment for our patients. Ward 30 Nacka is now seeking two nursing assistants who want to help shape the future of psychiatric care. About the Unit On Ward 30, nursing assistants, nurses, social workers, occupational therapists, medical secretaries, and physicians work together to provide 24-hour care with a focus on psychosis. We receive patients ranging from acute cases from the psychiatric emergency department to patients admitted through outpatient care or voluntary admission. Here, a dedicated team centers person-centered 24-hour care for patients with psychiatric issues. To ensure quality and equitable care, interventions are guided by diagnosis-specific care process maps tailored to each patient's individual needs. The unit is located in modern healthcare facilities at Nacka Hospital. Public transportation is conveniently accessible near the unit, and parking is available for staff. Job Description As a nursing assistant, you play an important role in nursing care and collaborate with colleagues in various multidisciplinary teams. We actively work on developing patient participation, care plans, nursing plans, and concrete nursing interventions. Working alongside your professional and engaged colleagues, you will contribute to our goal of providing psychiatric care of the highest quality. The position involves daily patient contact, conversations, activities, nursing care, and other tasks on the ward. Documentation is done in our TakeCare system. Our Expectations of You You are a trained nursing assistant. You have strong collaborative skills but can also work independently and make your own decisions when needed. In nursing care, you approach the patient's and their family's resources and needs as the foundation. You must provide proof of protected professional title for nursing assistants or an employer certificate confirming that you held a permanent position as a nursing assistant on July 1, 2023, in accordance with the transitional provisions (2021:739) of the Patient Safety Act (2010:659). If you apply with an employer certificate, you must attach your nursing assistant diploma. It is advantageous if you have experience working in psychiatric 24-hour care with a focus on psychosis.
