We are looking for more dedicated nursing assistants for Vevrehemmet This fall, we are opening our fourth department, which will be a short-term unit. We offer nursing assistants permanent positions at 100%. Working hours are scheduled either day/evening or evening/night. Everyone works every other weekend. For scheduled employment, we have a favorable full-time equivalent of 36 hours and 20 minutes per week. Vevrehemmet is located in the beautiful natural surroundings of Veberöd. There is parking and our public transportation connections are good with a stop just outside the door. The facility consists of 36 apartments, of which 10 apartments are for people with cognitive impairment/dementia. We are now expanding with 6 additional places, which will be a short-term unit. The facility has a nice outdoor environment that residents and staff enjoy spending time in. The building also has a dining room and meeting place, which creates activity and movement and provides opportunities for activities on-site. Vevrehemmet provides person-centered care with our residents' individual needs in focus. Here we work closely together; "We help each other in the house" and together we create security and good care. We have low staff turnover, but are now looking for more colleagues due to the expansion of our operations. About the role and your tasks As a nursing assistant, you are part of the multidisciplinary team. You contribute with your specialized knowledge within your professional competence. Through close cooperation with the manager, nurses, physiotherapist, and occupational therapist, as well as others in the team, you help provide meaning to the residents' lives with the individual's needs at the center. The work involves care work based on the resident's wishes and needs as well as delegated tasks according to HSL. As a nursing assistant, you will work with the digital system Epsilon, develop implementation plans, document in Lifecare, evaluate, and contribute to maintaining good quality in our operations. We follow up on quality in national registers such as the BPSD register, SveDem, and Senior Alert. The work also includes being a contact person and possibly holding a responsibility area. An important part of the work is working as a team around the resident to gain a good holistic perspective. We work based on the national values in elderly care where the keywords are self-determination, participation, and individual adaptation.
