WORK TASKS As a nursing assistant in Lerum Municipality, you will have the opportunity to influence and take responsibility for planning, implementing, and following up on care for the individuals you are responsible for. We work person-centered with a focus on continuity, safety, and quality, tailoring care to each individual's needs, wishes, and daily life. You work closely with colleagues and other professionals, such as nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. In home care, we are on a development journey and are looking for someone who wants to contribute to the continued development of our operations. We offer close leadership with two managers, two coordinators, and specialist nursing assistants who provide support in daily work and create conditions for clear and present leadership. Your work tasks include: • Provide support in the daily lives of care recipients, for example with personal hygiene, dressing, meals, and mobility assistance • Perform delegated healthcare tasks, such as medication management, insulin administration, and wound dressing changes • Promote and motivate active and meaningful daily life through social interaction and activities • Document and record important events and interventions • Plan, implement, and follow up on care measures together with the care recipient • Collaborate with colleagues and other professionals to create safe and well-functioning care Work is scheduled for both daytime and evening shifts with every other weekend included according to schedule. Full-time hours are 37 hours per week. Your placement will be in one of Lerum's four home care districts: Floda, Gråbo, Lerum South, or Lerum North. If needed, work and placement may also occur in their other home care districts. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is trained as a nursing assistant and has a genuine interest in working with people. It is an advantage if you have further education in healthcare and elderly care at post-secondary level. You have good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written, as the work requires clear communication and documentation. The position requires proof of protected professional title as a nursing assistant issued by the National Board of Health and Welfare and a category B driving license. It is advantageous if you have: • Experience with delegated healthcare tasks • Experience working in a hospital or other healthcare setting • Experience working in functional support or LSS activities • Other language skills Since work in home care involves considerable independent work, you need to be comfortable making decisions, taking responsibility, and working independently. At the same time, you are part of a team and must be able to collaborate, communicate, and ask for support when needed. You have a professional and respectful approach and can adapt your demeanor to the care recipient's needs and circumstances. You work in a structured and thorough manner, take responsibility for documentation and delegated healthcare tasks, and can adapt when circumstances change.
