About the Position As a nursing assistant in Lerum Municipality, you'll have the opportunity to influence and take responsibility for planning, implementing, and following up on care for the service users you are specifically responsible for. We work in a person-centered manner with a focus on continuity, safety, and quality, tailoring care based on each individual's needs, wishes, and daily life. You'll work closely with colleagues and other professionals, such as nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. In home care services, we are on a development journey and are looking for someone who wants to contribute to the continued development of our operations. We offer close management with two supervisors, two coordinators, and specialist nursing assistants who provide support in daily work and create conditions for clear and present leadership. Your tasks will include: Provide support in service users' daily lives, such as with personal hygiene, dressing, meals, and transfers Perform delegated health and care tasks, such as medication management, insulin administration, and wound care Promote and motivate an active and meaningful daily life through social interaction and activities Document and record important events and interventions Plan, implement, and follow up on care interventions together with the service user Collaborate with colleagues and other professionals to create safe and well-functioning care Work is scheduled for both daytime and evening shifts, with every other weekend included according to schedule. Full-time is 37 hours per week. You'll be placed in one of Lerum's four home care districts: Floda, Gråbo, Lerum South, or Lerum North. If needed, work and placement can also occur in their other home care districts. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR We're looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant and has a genuine interest in working with people. It's an advantage if you have further education in care and health at the post-secondary level. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as the work requires clear communication and documentation. The position requires proof of protected professional title as a nursing assistant issued by the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare and a category B driver's license. It's advantageous if you have: Experience with delegated health and care tasks Experience working in a hospital or other health care setting Experience working in support services or LSS activities Other language skills Personal Qualities Since work in home care involves much independent work, you need to be confident making decisions, taking responsibility, and working on your own. At the same time, you are part of a team and need to be able to collaborate, communicate, and ask for support when needed. You have a professional and respectful approach and can adapt your manner of interaction based on the service user's needs and circumstances. You work in a structured and thorough manner, take responsibility for documentation and delegated health and care tasks, and can adapt when circumstances change.
