We are seeking nursing assistants for the short-term care units at Kvarnbacken and Ängabogården. These units serve individuals who need support for a limited period. The units focus on people requiring rehabilitation, palliative care, and assessment, and who have extensive care needs. We hope you will want to join and strengthen our teams! WORK DUTIES In our operations, we work from a salutogenic perspective, which means we base our approach on the resources and abilities the user has. We adapt support, care, and nursing according to individual needs. In your role, you will work independently but collaborate with your colleagues to achieve the operations' goals, and you will work based on delegated tasks according to the Health and Medical Services Act. Work duties vary depending on the user's care needs. You will primarily work with good nursing care, service, and social interaction, but also documentation, planning, certain health and medical care tasks, and development work. Together with your colleagues, you are the key person around the user, and you work together to create a good life for the individual. Your workdays may involve anything from meal delivery, administering medication, walks, washing clothes, to sitting down and talking for a while with someone who needs it. You also attend welcome meetings, establish and continuously update implementation plans, maintain contact with family members, and document according to applicable legislation in our digital systems. QUALIFICATIONS We are seeking you who: • are a trained nursing assistant with a protected professional title • are well familiar with digital platforms, following workplace action plans, policies and guidelines, and the Social Services Act paragraph SoL §1:1 • have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written Previous experience in elderly care and/or other healthcare experience is meriting. We are seeking someone who is confident and has a professional approach when meeting users, family members, and colleagues. You are flexible and can adapt to users' needs and the operations' conditions. With attentive communication and good collaboration skills, you contribute to good nursing care and good teamwork in the work group. Employment form: Permanent employment.
