Description We are looking for you to make a difference for people who need short-term support and rehabilitation. Our short-term residential facility welcomes adults aged 18 and over who have been granted assistance under the Social Services Act. This may include people who have acquired an injury in adulthood and therefore have a temporary increased need for support, care and rehabilitation, or other life situations that require a person to stay for a period at the short-term residence. Those who come to us often have extensive medical and care needs as well as a need for rest and recovery. We work with everyday rehabilitation to promote faster return to independence. Job Responsibilities As a nursing assistant, you work with individualized and health-promoting care, with a focus on participation, self-determination, safety and continuity. You work based on individual goals and interventions that are documented in implementation plans. At the short-term residence, you work in multidisciplinary teams together with, among others, nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists and support educators. You document and convey relevant information and contribute to monitoring the individual's needs and interventions. The work requires that you can work independently, prioritize and remain calm when situations change. Job responsibilities include: Personal care and individual support Safety-promoting supervision and support based on individual needs Support with meals when needed Information exchange and collaboration with colleagues and other professionals Documentation of interventions, observations and changes in the individual's needs Execution of delegated health and medical care interventions on behalf of a nurse, occupational therapist or physiotherapist Implementation of rehabilitative measures according to prescription Management of tracheostomy according to delegation Handover of relevant information to the next shift The work is both varied and developmental. The position requires a flexible, structured and situation-adapted way of working. Qualifications We are looking for you who have completed a nursing assistant education from the health and care program or the health and care program for adults. It is also a requirement that you have experience working in health and care. Communication is an important part of the work, which requires that you have a passing grade in Swedish 1 or Swedish as a second language 1. If you do not meet the language requirement, you may be offered to take a language test through test provider Educateit. In addition to the basic requirements, it is advantageous if you have: Experience working with people with acquired brain injury Experience working with everyday rehabilitation Experience managing tracheostomy, or willingness to undergo training and receive delegation Experience working with people with mental health problems and/or substance abuse issues is also advantageous. It is also advantageous if you have previously worked at a short-term care unit, in inpatient care or at a hospital. You meet others in a friendly, helpful and respectful manner, even in stressful situations. You are positive and work to ensure that the individual receives the support and care they need. You are flexible and can quickly adapt your working methods when conditions change. You are responsive to others' needs and show respect, consideration and care in your interactions. You collaborate well with others, listen and contribute to the common mission. You are calm and confident in pressured situations and can prioritize, make well-founded decisions and take responsibility for your tasks. Interviews will be held on an ongoing basis.
