JOB DUTIES
Do you want to make a difference in people's everyday lives? The home care teams Björkåsen and Strandviken are now seeking nursing assistants who want to work in care during day and evening shifts. With us, you'll have the opportunity to provide security and support to our clients in their own homes, within an engaged and positive work team.
As a nursing assistant in home care, you deliver good nursing care and social support to our clients. You will have varied work that will largely involve helping and supporting clients in their daily lives to promote their functional abilities.
Within home care at Hammarö municipality, we have the conditions to flexibly adjust working hours according to the client's needs. This is highly appreciated and something you will notice makes a positive difference for the client. We like working together and you will have close access to your supervisor, nurses, and rehabilitation staff. We have administrative support in the form of home care coordinators who assist supervisors and staff with staffing and scheduling.
QUALIFICATIONS
We're looking for someone with nursing assistant training and experience in care work, home care, or elderly care. You enjoy working with people and can express yourself well both verbally and in writing in Swedish. In your work, you use mobile phones and digital tools, which requires a certain level of digital competence.
We would like you to be responsive to others' needs, have good interpersonal skills, and the ability to make independent decisions while also being committed to collaborating with others on the team. As a person, you have high social competence and are flexible, service-oriented, positive, and responsible.
The position is placed in a cycling group, which means that in your daily work you travel between clients by bicycle. It is therefore important that you feel comfortable cycling at work.
We place great emphasis on your personal suitability.
We offer you mentoring and introduction to the work. Selection is ongoing and interviews may take place before the final application deadline.
