JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a nursing assistant with us, you work together with your colleagues for the benefit of the user and play an important role in their daily life. Home care provides nursing care and service activities based on assistance decisions. We also work on assignment from healthcare, where nurses delegate work tasks in the form of medication administration, insulin administration, and other delegated healthcare tasks such as catheter flushing and oxygen management. Our operations also perform delegated tasks from physiotherapists in the form of training programs. Users have different needs for support and assistance, which means you get variety in your work. As an employee, you have a base placement in a home care group, but when needed, we help each other across unit boundaries to meet users' needs. You will transport yourself by bicycle, car, or on foot depending on your work group. To meet the challenges that home care faces in the future, you as an employee will play an important role in developing and creating new ways of working. Working hours are day/evening shifts with every other weekend. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with nursing assistant training and proof of a protected professional title. Previous experience in healthcare may be an advantage. We would like to see that you have experience with medication administration and insulin. You have good computer skills and preferably experience with social documentation. Since we have both vehicle-based and bicycle-based groups, a class B driver's license may be a requirement for certain positions. Bicycle skills are advantageous. A probationary employment may be applied and will convert to a permanent employment when valid delegation is presented. ABOUT THE WORKPLACE Home care helps and supports the municipality's residents who still live in their own homes but need support and assistance to have a functioning daily life.
